NCN 30 - Norfolk Circular
NCN 30 - Norfolk Circular is a 370.7 km road cycling route in East of England with 1421 m of climbing, about 6% of it off road, and it splits into about 4 days at a moderate pace.
The route is mostly flat, running through low Norfolk farmland and along the coast between Wells-next-the-Sea and Happisburgh before turning inland through the river valleys south of Bungay and Diss. Around six percent is off road, so almost all of it is tarmac. The line loops the county, and you are rarely far from a settlement, though the stretches either side of Santon Downham and Didlington are quieter than most.
Worth knowing before you go
Resupply is straightforward through King's Lynn, Beccles, Bungay and Diss, but the gap between Horsey and Gorleston-on-Sea and the inland section around Didlington and Stoke Ferry carry little in the way of services. Lowestoft is the only place where the route briefly crosses into Suffolk.
